I tried my hand at creating my very first online portfolio. In the past I had been used to mounting everything on heavy black stock and packaging it neatly in an oversized portfolio, but this time all it took was two hours, a little patience, and iWeb and it was easy and relatively painless. My only problem is that I never know what to put into a portfolio - I want to show as much as possible. I think I need to pare it down a little, but I need more great quality projects to replace all the ones I created as a beginner. And I also need to figure out a really good URL name for it.
I still have one more year of Graphic Design training and then I will be officially starting my second career. I feel like I have a long way to go, but I know it will go by in the blink of an eye. I need to have a great site that will really represent my talent and ability.
You can view my online portfolio here.
And send in your suggestions - I could use some guidance.
